The key element of Robert Irwin’s installation is light. And not any light, but California’s sun.
The exhibition consists of a replica of Irwin’s installation, surrounded by California’s flora, so that light, sounds, and smells can convey the original impressions of the works.
First and second level axonometry
The exhibition is divided into three zones, the boundaries of which are marked by the windows of Irwin in the central neph. First, visitors enter southern California, with palm trees and exotic flowers, then desert California, filled with graphic silhouettes of trees. The last zone, Northern California, refers to known national parks in the north of the state, which are famous for dense forests. «Hollywood» is drowned in the bushes, where a small film theater is located, where you can watch movies about an artist.

The entry group is shaped by the mechanical sun, which shows how much time it takes at the exhibition and, therefore, what kind of light it is now: dawn, noon, twilight.
